Optinol
The
high, Mexican desert plateau has been known for centuries
as a prolific source of the cactus called nopal. There are
many different species of nopal.
Nanci's Optinol is made from the species known as Opuntia
Streptacantha. Many of the nutritive elements that scientists
have found in this variety of the cactus have been clinically
shown to prevent and fight a broad spectrum of physical ills.
This particular species is superior to all other nopal varieties
because it provides the highest fiber content, a complete
profile of essential amino acids, and an overall more effective
nutritional offering.
The Opuntia Streptacantha species of nopal used in Nanci's
Optinol contains all eight essential amino acids. This means
that nopal is a complete, well balanced protein source, a
welcome dietary addition in a world that is rapidly turning
away from animal protein sources. The eight essential amino
acids are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine,
threonine, tryptophan, and valine.
Osteoporosis
has reached almost epidemic proportions in modern, technologically
advanced cultures. Why? Our excessive intake of animal protein
renders the calcium in our diets incapable of providing the
benefits our bodies demand. The high natural calcium content
in nopal turns the tide on osteoporosis. Nopal also contains
beta-carotene (vitamin A), which has been identified as one
of the strongest anti-oxidants. Science has discovered that
an excess of free radicals in our system leads to illness,
disease, and pre-mature aging. Many experts now claim that
we need additional anti-oxidants to support our bodies natural
free radical fighting powers. The beta-carotene found in nopal
helps supply this extra protection.
In
addition to the extremely high fiber content of Opuntia Streptacantha,
Nanci's Optinol contains another extraordinary ingredient:
Arabino galactin Soluble Fiber. Using soluble fiber tends
to slow the digestion process. This means that once you've
eaten after taking Optinol , you feel fuller longer. Furthermore,
it has been scientifically established that dietary fiber
supplements can reduce the risk of certain types of cancer,
heart disease, and some types of arterial disease as well
as lowering blood pressure, helping prevent diverticulosis,
and has a favorable effect in the management of diabetes.
Thanks
to Optinol, you and your family can now conveniently enjoy
the natural goodness of soluble fiber. Best of all, you get
it in a synergistic combination with Opuntia Streptacantha
that multiplies the helpful benefits of both.
